Artfight 2023: CA-6

A 5-card hold game that works similarly to the SM64DS/NSMB Luigi's Picture Poker minigame, starring characters from people in Artfight.

This game is part (and finale!) of my Casino Night 2023 gimmick, because to be truthful I like to add to myself an extra spice to Artfight every year since uhmmmm... 2020.

Game is played entirely with the mouse. Because of this and its simple controls that resemble Luigi's Picture Poker, it's also playable on mobile.

At some point, losing becomes a matter of going all in while on the top of the world in a hand that ends up getting beaten by the likes of a 6-5 Full House.  It can always happen. Don't let your guard down. Don't gamble your soul away! (Or do, you can always restart the game... here.)

The game works identically to the Luigi's Casino minigame it took inspiration from when coming to betting and payouts with the sole exception that there is not a limit on how much you can bet before replacing your cards. As such, here's a helpful reference straight from that game, how many times your bet will be paid back to you when you win with a certain hand:

Yes I named four-of-a-kind "Quadra". Fight me. I was even gonna name "Three of a Kind" Thria.

A few quality of life updates are planned, such to fix some sprite offsets in some animations or to include the betting payout visual, for example.
